In 2024, LiveTiles was acquired by Swedish company Omnia Digital Workplace AB, and the two companies have merged under the Omnia brand. All LiveTiles products are now being integrated into the Omnia platform. For existing LiveTiles customers, this means an upgrade path to a more powerful, future-proof intranet solution — and ThinkShare Norway is here to help you through the transition.

What happened to LiveTiles?
LiveTiles was placed into receivership in December 2023, and its global operations were acquired by Swedish intranet provider Omnia. The merger was announced in June 2024. The combined company now operates as Omnia Digital Workplace AB, headquartered in Sweden. The future product brand is Omnia, and all intranet features will be delivered through the Omnia platform.
What does this mean for existing LiveTiles customers?
If you are an existing LiveTiles customer, you remain fully supported on your current solution with no immediate changes. Omnia offers clear upgrade paths for all existing LiveTiles products, and the transition is free and fully supported. You will be assigned a dedicated Omnia Coach who guides you through the entire process.
What is an Omnia Coach?
Omnia Coaches are experienced consultants who specialise in helping LiveTiles customers migrate smoothly and confidently. They provide support from strategic planning and stakeholder alignment to hands-on implementation and user adoption.
Why Choose Omnia?
What happens to LiveTiles Reach and Directory?
LiveTiles Reach (the employee app) and the Everywhere Widget (AI) are being integrated into the Omnia platform. The Directory product will continue to be offered as a separate solution and will not be part of the unified intranet product.
